A consultant resigned because of personality conflicts with a fellow consultant. I was surprised by her sudden decision and sent this note. As I re-read my e-mail, I can see why I was surprised. My schedule was just too full. Letitia was our office manager.

Hi Anjelica,
I have no idea in the world why you're thinking of resigning. Letitia said you called Saturday, but I was exhausted after leading a workshop for 35 attorneys—and Sunday was totally booked with family commitments.
Today have back-to-back conference calls and a consulting assignment all afternoon (plus a newspaper article due tomorrow a.m.)—but let me talk with the team and process this. We'll get back with you later today.
Whatever the issue, Anjelica, you certainly don't have to resign to get our attention.
Thanks,
:B
