Subject: Tax deduction for charitable giving . . . ?
Tom,
My wife is President of a Front Range museum association, and in that capacity makes copies and pays for incidental expenses. Can we estimate and deduct those amounts?
Thanks,

Bill,
I believe that it is appropriate to deduct expenses paid on behalf of a charitable organization and not reimbursed as donations. So I would say yes we should estimate and deduct those amounts.
