Without Written Agreement

The customer disagreed with us about our fee, thinking it was less than invoiced. We suggested that he speak to Shanti Blaine, his administrative assistant, who was party to our original conversations. This resolved the dispute in our favor. However, it was our mistake. A simple e-mail at the beginning of the task, confirming our agreement, would have saved everyone sleepless nights.
