Sales Letter For Computer Salesperson

This is one of my all-time favorite letters, and it contains two of the best job-search lines I've seen: "Freedom to work more than 40 hours per week," and "Whatever it takes I can and will do."

Like all great letters, this one reflects the writer's personality: Linda is bright, creative, enthusiastic, alive. And she's successful. She mailed thirty letters, got three interviews and one job offer. Linda went to work in computer sales and was immediately fast-tracked. When the job soured, she rewrote her letter slightly, remailed it, and received another job offer. Today Linda is president of The Final Word, her own computer training company in Houston, Texas.
