When my Mother died, I received a few notes from charities explaining that someone had made a donation on her behalf. That was quite comforting, even though I didn't know the amount. They might have donated $25 or $2,500. It didn't matter. As Mother always said, "It's the thought that counts." Renee was our Office Manager.
Renee,
Trinity Howard, one of the founders of my consulting referral network, died last week of lung cancer. He was in his mid-60s.
Will you please call the American Cancer Society and make a $100 donation in his behalf. We can give the credit card number or send a check, whichever they prefer.
An announcement of the donation should go to his wife, as follows:
Brianne Trotter
3350 Powell St
San Francisco, CA 94102
The card should say: From Bill Frank and CareerLab
(I want to identify myself on the card because I know Mrs. Trotter.)
Let me know when you've completed this.
Thanks, Renee,
:B
