I had breakfast with a former client who landed a near-perfect executive job as Assistant Chancellor of a regional medical school. The purpose of the meeting was to re-establish our friendship and ask for her help in selling our career programs to the medical school. I find that e-mails addressed "You're the greatest!" or "You're the very best!" or something similar always get opened.

Tammy,
It was so nice to see you again today. I'm thrilled that your job is 98% perfect. That's a miracle, even by my standards. Thanks for your help in making connections to the medical community. I know we can make a big difference in MD’s careers.
Thanks,
:B
