An executive at one of our client companies died suddenly. It was terribly sad for the employees because their leader had worked there 25 years. I attended the funeral service, and was amazed that the CEO was able to speak to the crowd in reassuring tones without coming apart himself. It was an heroic eulogy, and I told him so.
Alix,
Your eulogy for Nathan Tristand was the highlight of his memorial service. Even though I never met Nathan, I felt I knew and loved him after you spoke. It took great courage to carry the weight of that moment with 500 spectators.
Nice job—and thanks.
