One of my favorite executive clients sent these words in a newsletter, and I replied with the note below. As I re-read Geoffrey's words, I realized they'd make a nice structure for any consultant's newsletter. Who doesn't want to share a friend's adventure?
"Several years ago I started writing a periodic letter about my professional adventures. At that time I was enjoying the search for a new opportunity. I was learning about exciting businesses in Denver, and I wanted to share my discoveries.
Once again, I am on an adventure. This time rather than a search, I am on more of a safari. Late last year, First Data repurchased its franchises in Australia and New Zealand. Right now, I am commuting between the lands down under and Denver. In June my family will move to Sydney for a year.
That explains why I intend to begin these letters again. I will be sharing a new view, a new adventure."

Geoffrey,
Lovely letter!
I enjoy and appreciate our friendship—and congratulations on this.
I'm proud of you!
Bill
P.S.—We should see a newsletter quarterly!
