I want to thank you for the assistance you have so kindly provided me. As I told you yesterday, I have contacted Mr. Morris and forwarded him my resume. I appreciate your suggesting that Mr. Sloan and Mr. Rice be contacted since they have good business contacts and can probably offer suggestions.

I was disappointed that you decided not to add a financial management position for the company, because I'm certain I could make a significant contribution with service work order controls, parts inventory management, computer system opportunities, reliable financial reporting, personnel productivity measurements, and assisting with your efforts for enhanced service to customers. As you know from our conversation, I am a proponent of the importance of excellent customer service.

I was very impressed with you as a concerned manager and with the pleasant environment I observed in your facility. That atmosphere, friendly and yet productive, represents the kind of situation I am seeking.

I hope you will reconsider your decision. I would be glad to meet with you and the owners further to explore the benefits of adding a financial management position.

I don't want to belabor the subject; however, because I believe there is very good potential, agree with your stated ideals and goals, and like the attitude of the organization, I know I would enjoy being a member of your management team.
