Proposal Reminding Client of Prices and Services

Sometimes corporations are so big, they forget what they've purchased. Or time passes, and they forget. Or they suffer turnover in their ranks and new managers need to be briefed.

That was the case here, where a corporate client forgot what we had done for them in the past and needed to be reminded. History can prove valuable if you've charged high prices in the past. If your past prices were high, when someone new inquires, "What will you charge for this assignment?" it's easy to say, "Let's just do what we've done before."

Subject: Employee Testing & Assessment

Hi Gloria,

Thanks for your call Monday. I checked our records and this is what we've done in the past:

First, we interview the candidate to get a work history, learn likes and dislikes, and discuss career goals and objectives.

Then we administer two standardized assessments:

  1. Campbell Skill and Interest Survey (CSII)
  2. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
Once the test reports are back (usually within one or two days) we have a face-to-face feedback session with the candidate to plan alternate career paths, both inside and outside the organization.

The fee for the in-person interviews, testing, evaluation and feedback is $1250.

Gloria, if I haven't heard from you in the next few days, I'll call you to answer questions and discuss scheduling.

With many thanks,

Bill Frank
