Congratulations On Job Offer #1

I gave advice and ideas to a casual friend during his job search, and when he landed he wrote to thank me. I sent him a note of congratulations and let it double as a sales letter. When appropriate, it's important to send the message,“I can still help you.” Here is his thank-you e-mail and my reply.

Thanks again for your help and support, and I wish you every future success.

Best Regards,

Robert,
I’m so happy to hear you’ve landed safely in a good position. How did you develop the job offer? Where did the lead come from? That always interests me.

Also, I’d like your business address as well.

I’m facilitating a lot of leadership retreats, so if you ever need a good leader for a critical meeting, or if someone in your organization needs an executive coach, we could work together.

 Best wishes for continued success,

:B
