The holidays are always a good time to reward, recognize, and reunite your team. Each year, besides bonuses and gifts, I gave our staff cards with handwritten notes. This year the printed message on the card said, "Happy Holidays and every good wish for the New Year." To our bookkeeper, I wrote:
Kelly,
You've been a real blessing to us, and I want you to know how much I appreciate you.
Thank you for caring so much and for looking out for our best interests.
