Thank You After Lunch of Congratulations

After Karen took a new job, we took her to lunch to congratulate her and to develop business inside her company. This could go as an e-mail (good) or as a handwritten note (better). You can say a lot in very few words. Who wouldn't take a call from you after these upbeat words?

Karen,

Thanks for taking time from your very busy schedule to meet with Christian and me. It was nice learning more about you and ABC News. Your job sounds terrifically exciting. You're really "where the action is." I can't imagine anything more fun.

Have a great day,

:B
