Thank You For Home Cooked Meal

Rodger is a high-level client who became a close personal friend. He invited me to his home, and his wife cooked a delicious meal for the three of us. After a cordial and delicious lunch, I sent this note.

Marissa,

Thanks so much for the lunch Saturday. Your salad was a work of art, a labor of love.  I could tell great care and planning went into it. The soup too was remarkable as was the (home-baked?) bread. I couldn't have ordered a more perfect meal if I'd had a hundred choices. Your hospitality meant a great deal to me.
