Thank You to Speaker #11

For five years, we hosted a monthly networking breakfast for $100,000K+ executives. The meeting featured a 30-minute talk by a well-respected authority on career management or job hunting, usually a successful client, major employer, or executive recruiter. I gave each speaker a $50 gift certificate from Barnes & Noble and handwritten thank you note. I personalized the notes to make them memorable. The challenge was to write 60 different notes. Several are included in this collection.

In this case, Marylou is a renowned public speaker and trainer of speakers. During her talk she said I should shave my mustache. My P.S. is a playful response to that.

Marylou,
Thanks for a lovely presentation yesterday. The group was delighted and you presented many, many practical ideas I'd never heard. It was FABULOUS seeing you "in action"—and we will push fledgling speakers your direction.
You're the best,
Bill
P.S.—The hair you don't see in the envelope is the mustache I didn't shave OFF!
