Sell Your Products

We produced a six-part DVD series about career transition, and although it was a fantastic series, products weren't part of our strategic direction. We're consultants, not product marketers. I thought the businesses would be compatable, but they aren't.

Unless you're a national speaker selling your books, CDs, and DVDs from the poduim, selling products requires developing entirely new distribution channels. I had volunteered for "Forty Plus,"  a national not-for-profit organization of experienced executives in career transition. This letter produced high-volume sales to "Forty Plus."

This six-part video series, "Getting FIRED/Getting HIRED:  Jobhunting from A to Z," is a gift to you and your members from all of us at CareerLab.  It shows the job search process from beginning (termination) to end (job offer).  There's good advice in it, and also a little humor.

I decided to send you the series because Austin Marcotte, President of Forty Plus in Denver says they use the videos every week in their training program. Apparently, it is very well-liked.

As you can see, the series normally sells for $249.00.  If the Forty Plus organization or any of your members want additional copies, we'll reduce the price to $99.95, plus shipping.

This isn't meant to be a sales pitch.  I'm much more concerned that the series get into the right hands, that is the hands of people who can really benefit from the information.  Give it a review, and let me know what you think.
