Show Persistence For International Business #1

Persistence is the name of the game, and it's especially good to let them know you're extremely busy, having a great time, and about to be snatched up by the competition.

Dear Dr. Taylor

Some months ago Jim Stovall suggested that I make a second effort to see you.

Recently Mike Hildebrand of Federal Express indicated that early February might be a good time.

Most of my life has been spent working through or around the many obstacles that third world governments love to put in the way of the continuing relationship that SSI must want to have with the overseas oil agencies. I've also participated in the development and day-to-day functioning of several significant international partnerships--which is an option that SSI might want to begin exploring.

Could we schedule a meeting to see if SSI is encountering enough third world roadblocks to warrant making use of my experience? We could consider employee status or an outside attorney relationship, as I'm well into conversations regarding joining one of Seattle's major law firms, and could serve SSI equally well from that base.

Yours truly,

Richard P. Ruby
